Our team of private doctors are all qualified General Practitioners and they are all registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). They can provide treatment, advice and guide you through any health concerns you may have.

You can see a private doctor on the same day, as early as 8am, in the evenings or on the weekend, and we even have clinics open on bank holidays. No matter where you are, we’re at your service and can help you find solutions to any of your health concerns.


Our core service is to provide you with quick and easy access to a GP to get you on the road to recovery. What’s more is that we don’t charge extra for writing prescriptions, sick notes or referral letters with our in-clinic appointments. After your doctors appointment we’re happy to send you your consultation notes, and as a private GP service we can even forward them to your NHS GP the next working day if needed.

In addition to our face-to-face GP services, we also offer online doctor appointments so that you can speak to a doctor by video wherever you are. Plus, we have access to a whole host of secondary services including X-rays, podiatry, dermatology and physiotherapy.


London Doctors Clinic, part of the Doctors Clinic Group launched in 2014 to provide first-class GP appointments and healthcare services quickly in a way that suits the busy lives of patients. We originally started as a face-to-face GP provider but today we are a nationwide business with 25 clinics nationwide offering primary and secondary care, Occupational Health and Corporate Healthcare. We provide care and treatment in clinic, via video and on-site at our client’s premises.

As well as expanding our clinic locations since we first opened, we have also extended the range of services we offer, many of which can also be offered remotely as telehealth services. This means you can get expert medical advice for many health concerns quickly without having to see a GP in person. We now also offer many wellness services to help you take control of your health. This includes wellness screenings, smear tests, prostate checks, blood test profiles, Covid testing, weight management programmes and more. We also help patients with secondary care services and specialist consultations such as physiotherapy, dermatology, imaging, minor surgery and a comprehensive suite of mental health services.

Where are your GP clinics located?

We have 25 clinics nationwide including private GP in London, private GP Manchester and private GP Birmingham. All our clinics offer the same services that you would find at an NHS GP.

What are your opening times?

We are open up to 14 hours a day, 7 days a week across all our private clinics and online doctors.

How much does cost for your appointment?

Are you a walk-in clinic?

At all our private walk-in clinics, we offer same day doctors’ appointments, so you no longer have to put your health concerns on hold. Simply book a time that works for you using our simple online booking system. This removes the hassle of the wait times present in other walk-in clinics.

How long is a private doctors appointment at one of our clinics?

At all our clinics, a standard appointment is 15 minutes, which is usually plenty of time for most health issues. However, should you require more, that is no problem at all. Because of the different services we provide, appointment times may vary. Our clinics can also accept last minute appointments if necessary.

Who will I see during my visit?

You will be seen by an expert GP at a time and location that works for you. All our GPs are fully qualified and pride themselves on our exceptionally high standards for customer service. We also offer a range of nurse-led services such as private smear testing, ear syringing and more.

What if I need to make changes to my private GP appointment?

For services at any of our clinics, you may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the time of your appointment. This can be easily done via the link in your email booking confirmation.
If you need to reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment or 48 hours for nurse services and health screens, you may reschedule however you will lose any pre-payment cost paid for your initial appointment.
If you are unable to attend your appointment (excluding health screens and nurse clinics), you can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time and your deposit will be refunded minus our administrative charge of £15. This can also be done via the link in your email confirmation. However, if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will not be eligible for any refund on prepayments. Bookings made less than 24 hours from appointment time, which are cancelled, will forfeit any prepayment or deposit. For more information, read our terms and conditions here.

Do you offer online doctor appointments?

Yes. We offer same day video GP appointments. Every day GP services can be done via video consultation. Most concerns can be dealt with via a video appointment, however, if our online GP needs to examine you in person, they’ll set up an appointment for you in one of our clinics.
You’ll receive a discount on your face-to-face appointment too.

What services do you offer?

We can offer the majority of services traditionally provided by your NHS GP surgery. We offer a wide range of services from all our private clinics nationwide. This includes private STD tests, private blood tests, Covid testing, specialist referrals, visa and immigration medicals, medication delivery, prescriptions and more.
We also offer a range of nurse-led services such as private smear tests and ear syringing.

I need to see a specialist. Can your GPs write a referral letter?

Whether you are looking for advice from an expert dermatologist, need a consultation with a psychiatrist or need to speak to a physio about an injury. We offer a range of specialist services in house as well as work with a range of specialist consultants who are experts in their field.
Our doctors try to solve your concerns during your appointment however sometimes more specialist support is needed. In these cases, the doctor will write you a GP referral letter so you can see a specialist quickly such as for x-rays or MRIs, physio or mental health services.

Do you offer private Covid testing?

Yes, we offer private Covid testing at select clinics. We offer both pre-travel testing and post-travel testing including Day 2 and 8 Covid testing and Test to Release. For the full list of Covid testing services and locations, please check out our web page here.

Can I get a blood test at one of your GP locations?

Do you offer mental health services?

If you are struggling with your mental health and would like to speak to someone about how you are feeling, our mental health experts will listen and discuss suitable support and treatment. You can do this in person in one of our clinics or via a video consultation if you feel more comfortable.
If further support and treatment are required, we will be able to refer you to a mental health specialist for treatment such as Counselling, Psychiatry Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and more.
