What is health surveillance?

Health surveillance is an ongoing, repeated health assessment programme to assess workplace risks and detect any ill-health in employees caused by their work.

The purpose of this is to catch work-related illness early before it develops into long-term health concerns, as well as offer employers actionable advice to minimise any further health hazards and risks.
