Our General Practitioners aim to treat most medical disorders or queries in-house, however, in some cases an onward referral to a specialist will be required for further investigation. If this is the case, our doctors will provide you with private referrals to a specialist at a private hospital in London, or you can choose to have an unnamed referral. Most private medical insurance providers require a GP referral to access secondary care at a private hospital, if you just want a referral we can also easily arrange this at any of our clinics. 

All of our GPs are fully trained and experienced in dealing with mental health issues. We understand that sometimes life can feel overwhelming and medical advice is needed in order to get ourselves back on track. From anxiety, depression, insomnia, OCD or addiction issues we are here to help you. In some situations, we will advise you to see a mental health specialist for more specialist care and treatment. Our Blackfriars clinic hosts our in-house Consultant Psychiatrist who can treat all major mental health disorders including bipolar disorder, phobias, ADHD and schizophrenia & paranoia.

The clinic itself is readily accessible as it is only a few minutes walk away from City Thameslink, Blackfriars Station and St Paul Station which is connected to the following Tube lines: District Line, Circle Line, Central Line. The entrance to the clinic is just 10-20 metres West of Farringdon on Fleet Street.

How long is an appointment?

A standard appointment is 15 minutes, which from our experience is enough time for the majority of health queries. You can choose to have a longer appointment when you make the booking and all our prices are clearly displayed here.

An appointment with the Consultant Psychiatrist is 1 hour for an initial assessment followed by half hour follow ups.

Can I book directly with the Consultant Psychiatrist?

You will need a GP referral before you see a Consultant Psychiatrist. Once you have your referral we can book you in directly for your 1 hour assessment.
