In line with the government’s social distancing guidelines, our face-to-face physio service is temporarily suspended. We are currently offering video physiotherapy appointments at a reduced cost. We hope to be back up and running with face-to-face services as soon as it is safe for us and you.

How will physiotherapy help me?

Physiotherapy uses exercise as a way to enhance and optimise physical wellbeing and physical activity. Our aim is to restore and maintain movement and function to treat and prevent further injuries or illnesses.

There are many reasons to see a physiotherapist. The most commons reason is to treat musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, hip pain and knee pain.

We also treat:

  • Sports injuries – sprained or strained muscles, ligament injuries, shin splints, tendon problems
  • Arthritic conditions
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Carpal Tunnel syndrome
  • Achilles heel pain
  • Sciatica

What happens in a physiotherapy session?

Our friendly and professional therapists will use the initial video appointment to carry out an assessment to help find the source of the problem and help provide a diagnosis. Once we have a diagnosis, we’ll build a tailormade treatment plan to help your rehabilitation. The comprehensive exercise plan with video guide on how to do each exercise will be sent to you after your initial video appointment with our physiotherapist.

We will then arrange a number of follow-up video sessions with our physiotherapist to ensure you are progressing well with your treatment plan. While everyone is different and the amount of sessions you need will differ to someone else, our overall aim is to focus on mobility and improving movement.
