Marathon du Medoc Medical Certificate
Applied to run the Marathon du Medoc? Don’t get stuck at the start line for forgetting that Medical Certificate!
All Marathon du Medoc competitors should submit their Medical Certificate to race authorities before the end of May, before taking part in what’s known as “the world’s longest, booziest race”. Not only must you be fit enough for the full 26.2 mile trek, but also to do so in compulsory “Tales & Legends” fancy-dress attire, while indulging in a considerable amount of wine, cheese, oysters and other local specialities!
After a thorough Medical Examination, our GP’s will be able to declare you fit to race: completing the stamped and signed medical certificate you can submit to race organisers in advance of the race.
If you haven’t already got this Certificate, our doctors at LDC would be more than happy to assist you with this at any of our 10 London clinics – for the lowest price in London!
Simply book in online for a 30-minute consultation with one of our fully-qualified doctors, costing just £120. Please make sure to mention the Marathon du Medoc medical certificate, or any other sport medical, in the Notes section when booking, and bring this form along with you to the appointment.
Alternatively, give us a call or drop us an email for more information.
Bonne chance and bonne appétit! And though we are sure you’ll be fine, we can also offer a liver function blood test upon your return!
