Considering taking up boxing, and need a Medical Examination before joining your local club? Or already a competitor, but need a Medical before competing in the upcoming match? Boxing is a popular sport, but not without its risks. That’s why the International Boxing Association (AIBA), all boxers must undergo a thorough Medical Examination when first joining a boxing club, and often before big matches, too.

How long will the appointment take?
Boxing medicals can usually be completed within a 15-minute GP consultation, costing just £55. However, if your required medical form includes more extensive tests required, such as extensive blood-work, ECGs or Spirometry, you will most likely require a 30-minute GP consultation, costing just £100.
